Health and Dental Care in Nebraska

The Nebraska Health and Human Services System is only one of three organizations in the state dedicated to improving the future of children's dental health throughout the state by (1) increasing the proportion of children who receive dental sealants, (2) increasing the number of communities that use fluoride in their water and (3) increasing access to low income children.

In addition to these state-funded objectives, discount dental programs around the state have begun to implement coverage to Nebraska families. These plans offer them considerable savings on basic and emergency dental care. Enrollment in these plans range in cost from $79.95-$139.95 for individuals and $129.95-$189.95 per family for 15 months. Benefits are many for those enrolled, including:
