Affordable Family Health Services Membership

Affordable Family Health Services does not require high monthly premiums for membership.  Membership fees are affordable for both individuals and families. In some cases, yearly membership fees are less money than a one month premium payment.

Members of Affordable Family Health Services, or AFHS, do not have to meet deductibles in order to enjoy their discount benefits.  Members can use discounts as soon as they receive their membership cards, and they are not required to pay co-payments because Affordable Family Health Services is not an insurance program. In addition, AFHS provides one free yearly checkup to most members.

Affordable Family Health Services’ discounts allow you to save up to 50% or more on general dentistry from participating dentists, and participating AFHS specialists discount their fees up to 25% for members.

AFHS does not have exclusions for pre-existing conditions.  You can use the discounts offered regardless of whether you have had a dental problem for months or for minutes.

Savings and Benefits with AFHS

Specialties cover orthodontia so that you can take care of the orthodontia needs that you and your children might have, including braces. Other specialties covered in the plan include periodontal, or the treatment of gums and gum diseases, and pediatric dentistry.  Pediatric dentists focus solely on the dental needs of children through their adolescent years.

There are also discounts available on cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontia, or services related to bridges and dentures, and endodontists, who specialize in root canals. You may use as many discounts as necessary, as there are no maximum caps on the number or amount of discounts that you can use when you are an Affordable Family Health Services member.

When you become a member of Affordable Family Health Services, you are automatically eligible for their prescription drug discount service at no extra charge.  You can receive discounts of up to 20% or more on generic drugs at participating pharmacies or you can enjoy discounts up to 80% of drugs ordered through their mail-order program.

You are also automatically enrolled at AFHS’ vision services discount plan.  This discount plan offers eyeglass and contact lenses products and services with savings up to 60% off of retail.

Affordable Family Health Services also offers free chiropractic discounts in the state of Georgia.  Participated chiropractors will charge between 35%-50% off of their customary fees for their services.
