The Dental Eclipse Discount Plan Details
The dental savings plan is meant as a stand-alone fee reduction plan for families who do not have dental insurance. The plan may be used with dental insurance, but special provisions apply. Membership plans are available for both individuals and families, and the dental provider or general dentist for the family must be chosen at the time of enrollment.
Savings range from 15 to 50 percent, and basic services available to members of the plan include exams, cleanings, X-rays, sealants, and fillings. These basic services are all vital for preventive dental care for children.
Specialist services include braces, gum disease treatments, wisdom tooth extraction, root canals, crowns, dentures, and bridges. Coverage is available for both spouses and dependent children. Full-time students may be covered under a family’s plan until age 26. All family members must go to the same dentist.
There are no claim forms or deductibles, and no annual or lifetime maximums for treatment. Most pre-existing conditions are covered. One exception is for orthodontist services. If orthodontic services are already underway with a dentist not in the plan, members may not continue the treatment under a specialist within the plan.
Lab fees are in addition to the discounted fees for services.
