Individuals who have dental insurance, but who need additional cost reductions, can supplement their insurance coverage with the plan. Because the Harbor Dental Plan is not insurance, member families do not have to meet deductibles or pay co-insurance payments. The families begin receiving the reduced fees for service immediately.

• Discounts start as soon as the low annual membership fee is paid.
• Members may pay a $9.00 a year processing fee in order to spread payments out over a twelve month period.
• A variety of family plans are available that include the spouse, dependent children, and any permanent members of a household, such as an aging relative who lives with the family.
• Fee reductions of 10 to 80 percent, depending on the procedure and location of the dentist are based on the standard fee for the service in the area.
• Pre-approval for any treatment is not necessary.
• Any person of any age is eligible for individual memberships.
• The plan covers cosmetic dentistry.
• Full payment is required at the time of service in order to receive the discounted rate.
