This regional discounted dental services plan is for residents of Indiana, but is a part of United Networks of America. The Indiana Dental Plan (IDA) works by offering reduced rates that are paid in full at the time of treatment. Variations of the plan to cover groups, individuals, and families are based on discounted preferred provider plans.

Indiana Dental Plan features:

• Because there are no limitations or waiting periods, you can receive services immediately.
• Every pre-existing condition is covered.
• No yearly or lifetime maximum limits restrict use of the plan.
• Deductibles or claim forms are not required.
• Spouses and dependent children are included in family coverage. Full time college students are considered dependents until age 23.
• Fees for general dental services are 15 to 70 percent less than regional charges for these services.
• Activate membership with a low annual fee. Choose any dentist in the plan's network at any time. Membership begins in a few days.
• General dental services include exams, cleanings, sealants, fillings, x-rays, and crowns.
• Fees for work done by specialists are 20 percent less than regular regional fees. You do not need a referral from your general dentist to see a specialist.
• The plan's specialists can provide such services as wisdom tooth extraction, extensive root canals, bridges, dentures, treatment for diseased gums, and special children’s procedures.
• There are separate reduced fee structures for braces or orthodontist's services, but they are available through the plan.
