Preferred Network Access Plan Savings

The Preferred Network Access dental savings plan is designed to meet the needs of families who do not have dental insurance or who need supplemental insurance. This plan offers access to over 61,000 dentists. It also includes vision coverage and prescription discounts. You may enroll your family and have immediate access to the dentists in the network. Most services, including those performed by specialists, are discounted at least 25 percent.

Basic services available to members of the plan include exams, bitewing X-rays, and panoramic film with cleanings. Other basic services include sealants, and fillings. These basic services are all vital for preventive dental care for children. Specialist services include braces or orthodontia, gum disease treatments, wisdom tooth extraction, root canals, crowns, dentures, and bridges.

Preferred Network Access Plan Features

Membership plans are available for both individuals and families, and coverage starts almost immediately. Members may choose any dentist within the plan, and coverage is available for both spouses and dependent children. Full-time students may be covered under a family’s plan until age 25.

This plan promises no pre-existing condition exclusions or predetermination of benefits, and empowers members to seek specialist care without a referral. Lab fees may be charged for crowns and bridges.

Savings range from 10 to 60 percent, with an average of 50 percent savings, and there are no claim forms or deductibles. There are also no annual or lifetime maximums for treatment, and no lengthy waiting periods before treatment can begin.
