Protective Dental Plan Savings
The Protective Dental Plan is designed to help families who do not have dental insurance or who need supplemental insurance. You may enroll your family and have immediate access to the dentists in the nationwide network. Most services, including those performed by specialists, are discounted at least 20 percent, but fees vary by region.

Protective Dental Plan Features
You may choose any dentist within the plan. Dentists on the list may change without notice. Be sure to also contact the dentist to verify continued participation.
Basic services available to members of the plan include exams, bitewing X-rays, and panoramic film with cleanings. Other basic services include sealants, and fillings. Specialist services include braces or orthodontia, gum disease treatments, wisdom tooth extraction, root canals, crowns, dentures, and bridges.
Coverage is available for both spouses and dependent childre, with no pre-existing condition exclusions or predetermination of benefits. There are no annual or lifetime maximums for treatment, and no lengthy waiting periods before treatment can begin.
Savings range from 10 to 60 percent for general dentistry services, and there are no claim forms or deductibles to meet before benefiting from these savings. However, lab fees may be extra, and there is a thirty-day cancellation period.
