Savings range from 10 to 50 percent for general dentistry services, with an average of 30 percent discount. Services not listed are discounted 20 percent. Basic services available to members of the plan include exams, cleanings, X-rays, sealants, and panoramic film. Specialist services are discounted at 20 percent and include braces or orthodontia, gum disease treatments, wisdom tooth extraction, root canals, crowns, dentures, and bridges. Most cosmetic dentistry is covered.

Coverage is available for both spouses, dependent children, and any permanent resident in a member’s household. There is no age limit for dependents. Members may choose any dentist within the plan, and there are never any claim forms, co insurance, or deductibles to manage. The plan also boasts no annual or lifetime maximums for treatment, and no waiting periods before treatment can begin. In an effort to optimize customer satisfaction, UNI-CARE 200 also offers a thirty-day cancellation period.
